We traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands to create a cinematic, story-driven video for this luxury resort, blending high-end production with a clear marketing purpose. Working closely with the client and the Marriott brand team, we worked with professionally casted actors and models, developed a full storyboard, and directed every scene to capture the essence of the resort experience. The final video is designed to play in-suite, across the property, and in Marriott’s international brand network -helping set the tone from the moment guests arrive and elevating the property’s presence globally.


Scope

This was a comprehensive, full-scale production that spanned pre-production planning, casting, location scouting, and creative direction. We began by developing a detailed storyboard that mapped out the guest experience from arrival to departure-highlighting key moments like check-in, poolside relaxation, fine dining, and immersive resort activities. Our creative direction focused on crafting an emotionally engaging visual narrative that would resonate with both leisure travelers and Marriott’s international audience.

Filming took place on-site in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where we directed a multi-day shoot featuring professional models and actors across various resort locations. We captured dynamic lifestyle content using ground-based cameras, aerial drone cinematography, and even water-based shots to bring the property’s natural beauty and guest experiences to life. Talent was carefully cast to align with the resort’s demographic and brand identity, enhancing authenticity and emotional connection.

Throughout production, we worked closely with Marriott’s brand team to ensure that every frame aligned with their global brand guidelines in tone, pacing, and visual style. The final deliverable was a polished, high-impact video designed for multiple touchpoints: it plays seamlessly on in-room screens, across the property’s on-site displays, and is fully optimized for use within Marriott’s international marketing and branding initiatives.

CLIENT FEEDBACK & Results

The resort’s executive and marketing teams were thrilled with the final video, describing it as “elevated, immersive, and exactly on brand.” They noted how the piece successfully captured the emotion and experience of staying at the property - something previous content had struggled to do. Marriott’s corporate team also approved the video for inclusion in their international brand ecosystem, further validating the creative direction and production quality.

Since launch, the video has become a key asset in the resort’s marketing strategy. It now plays in every suite, is displayed on lobby and event screens throughout the property, and has been integrated into the resort’s digital campaigns. The piece continues to serve as a flagship brand film—helping position the property as a top-tier destination within Marriott’s luxury portfolio.
